Financial Assistance

We recognise that people living with M.E./CFS often face financial hardship. The loss of health is often followed by loss of work and a reduction in income. We have, therefore, established the edmesh Hardship Fund to assist in these cases.

The Hardship Fund is open to edmesh members who find they are facing a specific acute financial hardship which cannot be met from their own income, where there are clearly no other funding options.

If you are a member and you need help with a specific expense, then you may apply for help from the Hardship Fund. The maximum amount available is £50. It is a grant and there is no requirement to repay the money.

To apply for the Hardship Fund, please contact us.
