Our  Open meeting will be taking place on 2pm on Saturday 13th April (doors open at 1.30pm). EDMESH are pleased to announce that Chris Ponting will be coming to speak to us, and we welcome all members and non-members.

Chris Ponting’s topic is “ME/CFS biomedical research: What can and should be done now?”.

Chris Ponting is a researcher at the University of Edinburgh and is Deputy Chair of the CFS/M.E. Research Collaborative. He has begun to look at the genetics of ME/CFS, and to investigate whether immune changes are apparent in people with ME. He is funded by the MRC, Wellcome, Action for ME and the CSO.

There will be a break for refreshments in the middle of the talk and also a chance to ask questions. The talk is free but donations for refreshments are welcome.A map of St Cuthbert's Church and Lammermuir Hall
