ME Awareness Week in Edinburgh kicks off with Dr Jonathan Kerr’s talk to edmesh at St Cuthbert’s Church on Saturday 9th May.

On Tuesday 12th May (International ME Awareness Day) there will be a Reception at the Scottish Parliament at which it is hoped to launch the Good Practice Statement for GPs, as well as the Report on the National Needs Assessment.

We end the week with our Information Stall at Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre, Leith, on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May. We need volunteers to help with this, so if you or a relative or friend can spare just an hour, please let us know. We are planning an information stall in the shopping centre with a display board with large posters highlighting ME/CFS. The information stall and volunteers will provide informative material relating to nationwide and local resources. Do come and support the committee! Passers-by at this display in the past have been curious, friendly and sympathetic.
