edmesh were there at the launch of Nasim Marie Jafry’s novel The State of Me last night. There was a great turnout of people to hear read an extract from the beginning of the book and answer questions about it. She explained that it had taken her 10 years to write - because, as an ME sufferer, it was a huge undertaking and she had to pace herself. There was then the struggle to get it published, with her original publishing house going into administration before it was picked up by Harper Collins.

edmesh has bought a copy of the book for our library, which will be available for members to borrow.
