Edinburgh M.E. Self help Group

edmesh is always on the lookout for volunteers. The management committee itself, is made up of volunteers, some have ME and others are carers or relatives of people with ME.

We need volunteers for all kinds of things. We need people to help us during ME Awareness Raising Week, when we set up an information stand at one of the Edinburgh shopping centres. We need volunteers at our social events. Perhaps you’re willing to push a wheelchair or help with getting our garden party organised. Or perhaps you could help with our website or ongoing campaigning with the Scottish Parliament and the Local Health Authority. Whatever your interest, there’s sure to be a volunteering opportunity that’ll suit you with edmesh.

In spite of the fact that most of us have ME, we’re a cheery positive bunch who want to support our members by making a difference.
