Self-Help for M.E.

Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.) is also called Myalgic Encephalopathy. It is frequently diagnosed as PVFS (Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome) or CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome).

M.E. is classed as a neurological illness due to the damage it causes to the brain. However, it affects much more than just the brain.

Please explore the site and learn more about ME and how it affects the lives of real people.

Members Section: Links to past newsletters and other interesting things for our members.

Online Forum: Any one with an interest in ME and/or Edinburgh MESH is welcome to have their own say about anything - from who's the best doctor to the best 5 minute meal. Some news items appear in the forum first (before being posted on Mesh News) so it's always worth a look.
